Nick Curnow

Nick is an Australian-based teacher who was mentored by John Patrick during a residency at UNC Chapel Hill’s Professional Actor Training Program. Nick served as an assistant teacher to Mr. Patrick’s MFA acting students and vocal coach for PlayMakers Repertory Company during this time. Nick has coached extensively in film and television, and for national and local theatre companies such as Opera Australia, Company B Belvoir, Ensemble Theatre, Old Fitzroy/Red Line, and the New Theatre. He holds an MFA (Voice) from Australia’s National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) as well as a Graduate Diploma from University of New England, and a BA (Performance) with Distinction from Western Sydney University.He is currently co-ordinating the voice program for the new Bachelor of Music Theatre at University of Adelaide’s Elder Conservatorium.
