The Power of Vocal Transparency: mVm + Chekhov

This event is brought to you by the mVm Presence Training and is OPEN TO ALL (Members and Non-Members alike)

During the month of September, Kristi Dana and Bethany Caputo collaborated in NYC with 16 actors on an exciting laboratory focused on embodiment of the Michael Chekhov Technique and integration with the Miller Voice Method. Kristi's research goal was to assess how the unique combination of the two might create a spontaneous, unfiltered, easily understood expression that clearly communicates the point-of-view of the character. The actors completed pre and post-lab surveys, which are assisting Kristi in tracking the efficacy of this investigation.

Join us for a conversation around their discoveries, questions, next steps and what they have discovered through bringing these two techniques into conversation with each other.

This conversation will be moderated by mVm Studio Co-Founder John Patrick and mVm Faculty Tania Chelnov.
